This week we will usher in December and also several opportunities for this week. But the greatest opportunity will be the challenge our pastor presented us to read (and memorize) a verse a day this week. Make sure and check the blog each day for the verse of the day this week!Here is a quick run down of things going on this week:
Wednesday ~ Family Meal at 6:00 PM. Bring a covered dish and enjoy a special time of fellowship. This will also be our church Christmas meal together.
Thursday ~ Deacons' banquet at 6:30 PM. Meet at Grace Manor
Friday ~ Children's Christmas caroling. Children meet at church at 3:30 PM for a time to sing and bless the residents of Surrey Place. Following will be a Christmas party at the church. Kids are asked to bring a Christmas dessert - cookie etc. for the party. Children will be finished and ready to be picked up at 7:00 PM.
Remember as we go about through the Christmas season to remember God's great gift to us - Jesus!
