Homegoing of Mr. Don

Mr. Don S. has been on our prayer list for a while as he has been struggling with declining health.  He recently came under hospice care as there was nothing more medically that could be done for him.  Mr. Don passed away last night and as Christians, we rejoice that he is no longer suffering and in pain.  Mr. Don has been a part of Antioch for many years and his smiling face, friendly greeting and his love for the Lord will be remembered and cherished.  Mr. Don loved his family and they have surrounded him with care during his illness.

Please keep Mrs. Helen and the family in your prayers.  Arrangements will be posted as they become available.

Is Your Child Graduating?

This is a last minute announcement about a program which will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) night.  If your child will be graduating this year, many changes will be coming to your family.  First Baptist Church is sponsoring a parent assemble which will be held at Suwannee High School in the media room from 7:00 - 8:00 PM.  This is a Christian based, informal atmosphere with practical help, a special speaker, light refreshments and a question and answer time.

Annie Armstrong Week of Prayer

The annual Week of Prayer for North American Missions will be this coming week. This year, five missionaries representing thousands of missionaries serving throughout the United States, Canada, and their territories are spotlighted. The other three days focus on ways Southern Baptists are reaching the lost in North America.
Theme: Whatever It Takes
Scripture: Mark 2:1-5 (HCSB)
"When He entered Capernaum again after some days, it was reported that He was at home. So many people gathered together that there was no more room, not even in the doorway, and He was speaking the message to them. Then they came to Him bringing a paralytic, carried by four men. Since they were not able to bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, they removed the roof above where He was. And when they had broken through, they lowered the stretcher on which the paralytic was lying. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."
