161st Homecoming

Next Sunday is our 161st Homecoming!  Special plans are in place to make it a day filled with the warm presence of friends and a time of reflection on God's goodness and grace.

Special guests include the Lighthouse Children's Choir who will share the message of God’s love and hope through song and testimony.  This choir consists of girls who currently live at The Lighthouse Children’s Home and whose lives were touched and changed by the wholesome Christian environment designed so that young women in crisis circumstances can meet Jesus and allow Him to totally transform them.
Rev. James Croft will be the special speaker in the 11:00 AM service. Rev Croft has what some pastors have called a unique evangelistic ministry in that he is only 3'10" tall. His size attracts the attention of adults, youth and children, allowing him the opportunity to share the Gospel. He has preached revivals and youth services in north Florida, South Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina. He has also conducted crusades, church leader’s conferences and Vacation Bible Schools in Ghana, West Africa for the past three years.

Following the morning service there will be a meal in the fellowship hall.  Church family is asked to bring extra food to share with our guests.

Services will begin at 9:45 AM in the sanctuary with a time of singing and enjoying the Lighthouse Children's Choir, worship will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Croft.  There will be no Sunday School or evening services.
