The Word

The goal of communication is clarity - we want people to understand us and we want to understand what others are saying to us.

In the book of John, John presented Jesus as Divinity and emphasizes His Deity.  John reminded the readers that Jesus is the I AM and shares 7 I AMs:

Jesus is:

• The Bread of Life
• Light of the World
• The Door
• The Good Shepherd
• The Resurrection and the Life
• The Way, the Truth and the Life
• The True Vine

John describes Jesus as being from the beginning and sending Himself to you and I:  John 1

Through the beginning of the book of John we learn:

God Has Spoken:
He speaks to us today, Jesus is God revealing Himself to us.

Jesus Is the Heart and Mind of God:
It is from the heart that the mouth speaks.

Jesus Is the Complete Word:
He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end of all.  He is complete - A-Z.

The book of John is a book of the Bible rich in wisdom, knowledge and the teaching of Jesus.  During the next few Sunday mornings we will be hearing and learning from the book of John.  You won't want to miss the truths shared from God's Word!
